Red Bull Cliff Diving Series 2010 - Kragerø (Norway)
Britain's Gary Hunt triumphed again in a thrilling Cliff Diving competition in Kragero, Norway, on Saturday. 12,000 spectators crammed boats to get a view of the action from the platform as Hunt's combined score of 386.45 extended his lead at the top at the midway point of the 2010 World Series. With rivals Artem Silchenko and Orlando Duque having already completed their third and final dive, and both posting high scores, the pressure was on Hunt, but there is simply no stopping the 26-year-old. After unleashing his devastating Triple Quad in the second round of diving, Hunt confirmed his third win of the Series with a front quad somersault with one and a half twist pike. "I’ve very recently come from 10 metre Olympic-style diving and I think that makes my form a little tighter," said Hunt, clutching his prize of a Viking sword. The 9th place from 13 competitors belongs to Czech Michal Navratil.
